The Bilingual Scholar Recruiter will ensure that all Gestalt Community Schools meet 

enrollment targets while cultivating positive relationships within the communities we 

serve. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced professional to apply 

proven scholar recruitment and outreach strategies as part of a mission-driven

The Bilingual Scholar Recruiter will contribute to the sustainability of each school's 

strategic direction and growth. The successful candidate will possess a proven track 

record of meeting deadlines and deliverables, as well as the ability to work 

independently and efficiently on project-based initiatives. He or she will have the 

drive and energy to thrive in a results-focused, no-excuses, entrepreneurial 

environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in scholar recruitment, the 

ability to work under tight deadlines, and the capacity to navigate complex systems 

and organizations without sacrificing accuracy, thoroughness, or attention to detail.


Reports To: Chief of Strategy and Operations


Salary: Employees at Gestalt Community Schools are provided with a competitive 

salary. Compensation is determined through an equity-focused approach and is 

based on an individual's skills, education, and years of relevant experience.


Core Competencies & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with network and school-based Recruitment and Enrollment teams 

to achieve annual enrollment goal of 3,000+ students.


• Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to increase applications, 

enrollment conversions, and representation across schools and grade levels.


• Represent Gestalt Community Schools at recruitment fairs, community events, 

and outreach opportunities while coordinating staff participation and 

preparing marketing materials.


• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, 

businesses, nonprofits, and other referral sources to expand the network's 

recruitment pipeline.


• Plan and facilitate open houses, scholar tours, admissions events, and family 

information sessions.


• Partner with marketing consultants to develop and execute strategic marketing 

and advertising campaigns that attract prospective families.


• Develop and deliver bilingual recruitment communications, presentations, and 

materials to effectively engage Spanish-speaking families.


• Coordinate community presenters, resources, and engagement opportunities 

for Parent Advisory Council meetings and other family-facing events.


• Lead the scholar lottery process in compliance with state law and maintain 

accurate student waitlists.


• Manage the recruitment and enrollment process from initial inquiry through 

enrollment, including timely and consistent follow-up with prospective families.


• Support reenrollment and family engagement efforts to promote scholar 

retention and minimize enrollment attrition.


• Provide input into the development and implementation of recruitment, 

enrollment, marketing, and family engagement strategies.


• Track, analyze, and report recruitment and enrollment data, including 

application volume, conversion rates, seat acceptance, enrollment, and waitlist 

activity.


• Monitor progress toward enrollment goals, identify recruitment gaps, and 

recommend strategies to address deficits.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current families 

throughout the school year to promote enrollment, engagement, and 

retention.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.


• Experience in a school setting, preferably within the K–12 charter school 

environment.


• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) required.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.


• Exceptional attention to detail.


• Self-starter with the ability to think strategically and proactively solve problems.


• Experience with admissions software preferred
