GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for managing the documentation of line of business procedures and ensuring adherence to required Risk, Legal, Compliance, Audit and LOB requirements as well as optimizing for operational efficiencies. Responsible for ensuring consistency with LOB processes. Ensure documents are consistent in appearance and content and adequately integrated into various Consumer Bank communication channels. Responsible for accurate content provided in customer communications.  Manage approval process with 1st and 2nd line of defense for process supporting documentation and customer communications. Responsible for facilitating periodic review of process supporting documentation and customer communications as required by Content Management Policy.

* Management and oversight of implementation of changes to process supporting documentation and customer communications in a timely and efficient manner.

* Ensure content changes are in compliance with bank policies and guidelines as well as compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

* Facilitate partnerships with LOB leaders and 2nd LOD partners in overall change management process and proactively communicate content change status.

* Ensure consistency in procedure documentation across the Consumer Bank.

* Accountable for ensuring appropriate storage of Consumer Bank process supporting documentation and customer communications in central repository. Ensure documents are retained in accordance with Fifth Third's document retention standards.

* Challenge and make recommendations to enhance existing procedures that optimize processes and improve controls to ensure an appropriate balance of internal controls, compliance, and efficiency.

* Manage the development and rollout of procedure materials for new initiatives and process flows. Participate in project meetings to assist in documentation of the workflow, as necessary.

* Continuous identification of areas for process improvement/process optimization within change management process and implement solutions for improvement.

* Evaluate content changes for upstream/downstream impact within the organization and communicate accordingly.

* Facilitate periodic review of process supporting documentation and customer communications as required by Content Management Policy

* Collaborate with 1st LOD and 2nd LOD partners (including Credit Policy, Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Compliance) to ensure they have specific input into new and revised procedural documentation and/or customer communications to ensure approvals are obtained in accordance with Content Management Policy and appropriate risk is mitigated.

* Collaborate with Audit regarding content management requests for internal audits.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments. Assist in the development of appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.

* 5-7 years banking experience preferred and/or technical writing experience.

* Strong organizational skills and ability to shift priorities quickly. Knowledge of Consumer Bank Policies/Procedures and systems.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
