CV-Tek is seeking a hands-on Welding Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift manufacturing team.
This is not a desk job.
Approximately 80% of this role is spent working alongside the team performing TIG welding and fabrication work, while 20% is dedicated to leading, coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable.
We manufacture high-quality stainless steel food packaging equipment that is shipped to customers throughout the industry. Quality matters. Appearance matters. Craftsmanship matters.

Schedule
- 2nd Shift
- 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- 2-4 weeks of paid training on 1st Shift
- Overtime available (approximately 2 hours per day)
- Overtime is not mandatory
- No weekend work currently
What You'll Do
- Lead a small 2nd Shift manufacturing team consisting of welders and CNC machinists
- Perform hands-on TIG welding and fabrication work
- Ensure all work meets CV-Tek's quality and cosmetic standards
- Support production priorities and coordinate with 1st Shift leadership
- Train and develop less experienced welders
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Enforce safety requirements and best practices
- Coach employees and hold them accountable for performance, attendance, quality, and safety expectations
- Foster a positive and professional team environment
- Help drive continuous improvement throughout the operation

Requirements
Required
- Strong TIG welding experience
- Experience welding stainless steel
- Previous leadership, lead person, or supervisory experience
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to quality and safety
Preferred
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food equipment manufacturing experience
- Fabrication experience
- Welding certifications
- Experience developing and mentoring junior welders
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work overtime when needed
