Principal Portfolio & Growth Strategy Manager

This role coordinates and manages processes and communications to ensure consistency across a broad product portfolio. It leads cross-functional programs and projects focused on efficiency, reliability, and sustainability within the portfolio. The role gathers and analyzes data to create reports and visualizations that communicate key insights to stakeholders. Success is measured by effective portfolio management, timely communication, and support for decision-making across business and technical teams. The work impacts organizational alignment and supports leadership in maintaining portfolio value and delivery status.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end product portfolio management to deliver value and maintain alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with leadership and cross-functional teams to support portfolio coordination and communication.
• Oversee portfolio delivery by partnering with managers to provide status updates and escalate risks related to resources and schedules.
• Conduct regular reviews with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive decisions and update on portfolio delivery and value realization.
• Provide guidance on portfolio intake, documentation, prioritization, resource allocation, funding, and business realization processes
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree and and 7 years of related work experienceOR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Marketing, Business, CS, or related field (Preferred)
• 7-10 years of Experience in managing, assessing, or working in some facet of the project life cycle. ( Preferred)
• 7-10 years of experience managing portfolios, analyzing performance, and delivering against financial and resource constraints. (Preferred)
• 7-10 years of experience as a leader and mentor for project teams in a matrixed environment.(Preferred)
• 7-10 years of experience managing multiple cross-functional projects with many stakeholders and varying levels of management.

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $156,480 - $282,240

National Base Pay Range: $130,400 - $235,200

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. 

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance. Actual earnings included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflect target performance; actual payouts may vary.
