The role: 

• Reconditioning wooden pallets, working with power tools to repair and replace damaged boards
• Ensuring safety systems and practices are adhered to so that a safe working environment is maintained
• Working towards volume production targets, while ensuring quality standards are at a high level 
• A position where you can see your outputs and feel a sense of achievement each shift
• Afternoon shift working hours 2.30 to 10.30 pm, Monday to Friday

Our requirements: 

• A strong commitment to safety
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role (you will be working on your feet all shift and manoeuvering heavy wooden pallets)
• Experience working with power tools and undertaking basic carpentry duties is an advantage
• A strong work ethic and understanding of working to production targets, adhering to both safety and quality requirements
• Able to pass a Ministry of Justice criminal history check, ACC injury history and a pre employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
