• Provides technical expertise to PQE engineers for customers/internal stake holders in the areas of product quality related tasks, processing techniques and problem resolution.
• Work with engineers to prepare analysis reports under dynamic work priorities.
• Own and handle customer SQC report, and other simple customer requests (pad analysis, quality data, etc)
• Support engineers to work with manufacturing on engineering trials, product handling (pulling/blocking products) for engineering purpose, and other related work.
• Manage regular customer issue/request through work process in Everest, SAP and assign issue/requests to team members according to organization role and responsibility
• Track, summarize, and report team KPIs periodically as required to the team
• Understands how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve broader objectives within the business/function.
• Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on new, complex assignments.
• Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams.
• Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or occur infrequently based on existing precedents or procedures.
• Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
• Facilitator for the TSMC OOC/OOB process is a plus,
• Tools commonly used: SPACE/stargate including CQR reports, JMP, Illuminator, database queries, excel/powerpoint

The Product Quality Technician (PQT) is responsible for ensuring the product quality data and product quality information accuracy.The PQT to support Product Quality Engineer (PQE) monitoring the SPC performance and trigger worse chart report.The position requires knowledge of MIDAS and SAP system and QC control process flow.The PQT must be able to communicate quality information clearly to internal team to support the business. 

The candidate is expected to use statistical methods to ensure that product quality is maintained.  This includes use of Minitab/JMP SPC to review the primary trend chart and update to PQE for root cause investigation.

This role is critical to the success of our business in an environment of ever-increasing customer expectations regarding product quality.  The successful candidate will work with PQE closely to accomplish their objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain specifications, control limits & trend rules in SPC software.
• Review intermediate & product SPC charts.
• Prepare draft inspection plan for MIDAS and SAP
• Respond to customer requests for SPC report.
• Prepare draft OCAP report for PQE to finalize it.

Requirements:

• Experience using statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) to improve processes. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with statistical software, such as JMP/Minitab. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong attention to detail.
