Job Description

Shape secure, scalable cloud services for hundreds of DevOps squads across Azure, AWS, GCP and EU Cloud.

You & your role

Create clarity in a complex multi-cloud landscape as Solution Architect Cloud Services. Guide squads with product owners and tech leads, translate strategic developments into scalable architecture, and connect technical standards with organisational needs. Shape secure, compliant and reusable services across Azure, AWS, GCP and EU Cloud, while enabling responsible adoption of generative and agentic AI through clear principles and guardrails.

• Harmonise and standardise cloud services across Azure, AWS, GCP and EU Cloud.

• Embed cloud capabilities securely and compliantly within the bank’s wider technology ecosystem.

• Translate generative and agentic AI developments into reusable capabilities, architecture principles and guardrails.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Define and evolve scalable architecture principles and frameworks for secure multi-cloud services.

• Guide squads within the leadership triangle, aligning product direction, engineering decisions and long-term strategy.

• Connect cloud services with enterprise technology, security, compliance and responsible AI adoption.

The role sits within Area Cloud Services, part of Engineering Services, and works closely with fellow solution architects, product owners, tech leads and engineering squads to shape Rabobank’s multi-cloud technology strategy.

You & your talent

• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS and GCP, and cloud architecture.

• Experience designing solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• Ability to translate strategic concepts into practical, actionable architecture and implementation steps.

• Structured thinking and confidence in providing clear direction.

• Strong English communication skills and a natural collaborative approach.

• Curiosity about AI and willingness to shape its responsible adoption within Cloud Services.
