Description
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Location: Singapore, Factory Visits
Job Purpose:
Ensure timely delivery of critical and long-lead project items to protect the overall project schedule.
Qualification / Certifications:
- Manage and expedite long-lead items including thruster gears, crane materials, DP equipment, electrical equipment and generator parts.
- Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing and delivery progress.
- Prepare weekly expediting reports and highlight delivery risks.
- Conduct factory visits where required.
- Identify and implement delivery risk mitigation actions.
- Coordinate with suppliers across Southeast Asia and China.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in offshore or marine project procurement / expediting.
- Strong supplier follow-up and expediting experience, particularly for long-lead equipment.
- Willing to travel for factory visits.
