Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Pembrokeshire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Property and Development Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £27.79 - £36.43 per hour
Summary:
A Senior Property & Development Manager is required to provide strategic leadership for the Council's property estate and corporate asset management function. The role will lead strategic asset management, property rationalisation, development opportunities, acquisitions and disposals, asset valuation and property-related governance, ensuring the portfolio supports service delivery, regeneration and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Council's property estate and asset management activities.
- Develop, implement and review Strategic Asset Management Plans and property strategies.
- Lead estate rationalisation, consolidation, income generation and capital receipt programmes.
- Develop corporate property policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
- Oversee operational and investment assets and strategic property reviews.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant property-related subject with substantial post-qualification experience.
Essentials:
- Significant experience in strategic asset management and corporate property portfolio management.
- Proven experience of leading complex property programmes and organisational change initiatives.
- Experience developing and implementing property strategies, policies and business plans.
- Proven experience in property valuation and asset valuation work.
