Join RAC Insurance as a Claims Compliance Co-Ordinator, where you'll play a key role in safeguarding our members by ensuring effective risk and compliance management.
About the Role
Join RAC Insurance’s Claims Compliance & Assurance team and play a key role in improving outcomes for our members. As a Claims Compliance Co-Ordinator, you will support the coordination of incident investigations, facilitate rectification and remediation activities, identify systemic risks and help ensure RAC meets its regulatory and Code obligations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with claims experience who enjoys problem solving, stakeholder engagement and driving continuous improvement.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the coordination of Compliance incident investigation for completeness and accuracy, including root cause analysis and providing recommendations or solutions to prevent further incident occurrence
- Facilitating remediation and rectification activities to ensure that issues are addressed and sustainable outcomes are achieved
- Consulting with operational teams, Incident Owners, Risk & Compliance and Legal as required
- Identifying, collating and analysing data for investigation, remediation and rectification of compliance incidents
- Creating adequate actions to rectify incidents in scope and prevent/reduce recurrence, including but not limited to document, process, coaching, system changes
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in claims, compliance, risk, incident management, or assurance within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience investigating compliance incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and determining appropriate corrective actions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance or financial services industry
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider critical business needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with the General Insurance Code of Practice, and ASIC guidelines (e.g., RG78) is highly advantageous.
