Every student with a learning challenge has a ceiling that has not been found yet. A specialized education and student support organization in Melville, New York is looking for Special Education Teachers who understand that and bring the patience, creativity and expertise to keep pushing that ceiling higher one student at a time.

You will provide individualized instruction to students with disabilities and diverse learning needs, develop and adapt instructional strategies, monitor progress and collaborate with therapists, parents and administrators to help every student build the confidence and skills they need for long term success.

What you need to bring:

• Current NYS General Education or Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to develop engaging lessons and adapt instruction to student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
