As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security Coordinator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor screening, and badge-related procedures. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting a professional front-desk presence at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, following visitor management procedures, issuing authorized access materials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
- Receive, screen, and direct visitors, deliveries, and service personnel in accordance with established security-related protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Maintain awareness of front-desk activity, report unusual or unauthorized activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
