Collins Aerospace is seeking a Sales professional with in-depth market and industry knowledge in the Commercial airline market segment. You will have the responsibility to grow the Commercial Avionics business by successfully prospecting new business, developing, and executing pursuit strategies, and closing complex deals. As a member of the team, you will directly contribute to this expansion by working directly with Commercial Airline in both the United States & Canada.
This requisition is fully remote, however, it is preferred to live near a major/international airport.
What You Will Do
Own and manage the customer account and all aspects of customer relationship
As the direct interface to the airline, you will be expected to identify the customers' needs and develop new client relationships
Know the customer’s organization, culture, structure, key decision makers and the customer decision making process and be responsible for the overall customer satisfaction
Effectively balance customer demands/needs with the business’ strategy/needs
Prepare pursuit and capture strategies and present to leadership as a key component of the business decision point process
Provide accurate and timely orders/sales forecasting
Establish and manage orders pipeline
Use a CRM to track sales activity (calls, emails, opportunities, campaign metrics)
Coordinate with other business units as necessary to maximize sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
Work with cross functional teams to create a collaborative culture that drive results by influencing decisions
Network with key contacts within Collins Aerospace and outside own area of expertise, to ensure successful capture of new business
Support the business units marketing organizations with accurate market, customer, and competitive information
Participate in key regional tradeshows and promote Collins Aerospace brand and solutions
Expected travel will be upwards of 50%
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Prior sales experience is required
Prior Aviation experience is required
Experience selling into Large Accounts
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior experience within Aerospace industry
Prior experience managing and owning the relationship with key customer and driving business growth
Prior experience working collaboratively amongst internal and external stakeholders
Fluent French speaking ability preferred not required
Previous Pilot experience preferred not required

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
