Job Description
Tuesday-Saturday 1:15pm-10pm
The EHS Administrative Coordinator is responsible for:
● Ensuring all administrative tasks and requests are addressed in a timely manner
● Supporting the Employee Health Services and DOH Reporting Team
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant are:
- Examine and process employment records to evaluate clearance statuses
- Process, verify, and maintain employee related documentation
- Report site and provider errors and inform appropriate staff on the correct EHS protocols to follow
- Follow-up with employees and management regarding pending clearance items and clearance statuses
- Follow-up with employees and management regarding employee return to work guidelines
- Followup with Employee Incidents
- Send reminders for annual fit test and annual tuberculosis health screenings
- Facilitate the clearance process by following up on charts and labs
- Attach labs and update patients with results
- Assist with phone calls
- If needed: Report DOH Reportable cases to DOH
- If needed: Answer follow-up questions from DOH in regards to patient labs and visits
- If needed: Follow-up with providers and site management on treatment/documentation errors
- If needed: Coordinate follow-ups between Aftercare and patients to ensure need for correct treatment is relayed
- If needed: Maintain records of DOH reports/contact lists
- If needed: Review and add verified DOH Personnel to our DOH Contact list
- Respond to email requests in a timely manner
- Maintain DOH Reporting databases
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by management
Qualifications
A candidate’s qualifications will include:
● A CityMD PCR for at least 6 months a plus
● Ability to work independently
● Exceptional patient / customer service skills
● Happy and positive thinking, able to project this attitude around others
● Must exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serve
● Ability to successfully multitask
● Time management skills
● High attention to detail
● Ability to work in a fast-paced / ever-changing environment
● Strong computer skills (knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Suite)
● Able to troubleshoot when necessary
This is an non-exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $20.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan
