Job Overview:-

This role is required to support the Innovation and Commercialization agenda across ANZ Beverages BU including accountability for supporting the running of the Innovation Process (Stage Gate meetings), leading innovation projects and driving cross-functional teams to deliver the launch and owning the Innovation systems data to ensure quality and reliable inputs and KPI reporting

Responsibilities

Portfolio Innovation Strategy Execution

  • Lead commercialization of identified White Space NPD for both Australia and New Zealand,
  • Effectively engage, communicate and influence other critical functions (R&D, Operations and Finance) within PepsiCo Australia/Region and Bottlers to ensure alignment and flawless execution of all identified opportunities
  • Ensure all projects are driven through relevant stages gate process both internal and externally (bottler stage gate) and that a robust M&E plan and NPD tracker is in place post-launch.
  • Tracking ‘stickability’ of innovation plans across a 3-5yr horizon in partnership with sector commercialization.

Project management

  • Develop strong relationships with Commercialization leads in all Bottler businesses (AU, NZ, PNG and Fiji) to align timelines and manage deliverables on time and in full – this requires significant influencing skills and ability to hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Leadership of cross functional project teams to deliver complex projects to agreed 1st shipment / in market dates
  • Responsible for driving PepsiCo Stage Gate and ensuring inputs and timelines align with bottler Stage Gate.
  • Responsible for communicating milestones & timelines to project teams & key stakeholders to enable on time, on budget project delivery.
  • Driving the monthly 3yr NPD Portfolio review agenda in collaboration with Innovations Director from Asahi to ensure all projects are communicated to Senior Marketing team and issues escalated through the right channels
  • Responsible for communicating risks & issues in Senior Leadership Forum (NPD Monthly Review, Asahi and Frucor Partnership monthly meetings) & implementing appropriate mitigation & contingency plans
  • Presenting projects at Stage Gate meetings to enable ANZ Leadership Team approvals.
  • Deliver KPI’s with a focus on of 3Yr Innovation NR, Stickability and Incrementality and complete all Post-launch evaluations on time and in full.
  • Build team standards via continuous end-to-end process improvement, tools and templates
  • MyInnovaton data completeness
  • Own MyInnovation data integrity, with responsibility for ensuring quality inputs and compliance in line with Global requirements and business KPIs

Qualifications

  • High level of business acumen, must be commercially savvy with strong analytical skills
  • Strong and effective communicator with people of all levels and functions in the organization
  • Proven project leadership/management skills, ability to manage complex functional interdependencies in project timelines
  • Strength in data analysis and interpretation in order to develop business recommendations
  • Able to function in a heavily matrixed environment across levels and functions
  • Understanding of FMCG innovations, including consumer ideation and Insights processes through to Make/Move/Sell capability
  • Bachelors degree, minimum 8 years experience
  • MS Project proficiency
