Description
Own defined areas of the UKG Hardware Data Collection portfolio, including established and widely deployed hardware products, related software experiences, and sustaining initiatives. Drive product lifecycle activities, including sustaining support, end-of-sale and end-of-life readiness, customer transition planning, and cross-functional communication. Partner with senior product leaders to evaluate customer needs, define priorities, document requirements, and execute product plans aligned with business objectives. Coordinate with engineering, sustaining engineering, QA, support, services, operations, sales, presales, enablement, and product marketing to manage product issues, enhancements, releases, and readiness activities. Support international product availability efforts including regional readiness, supportability, serviceability, and country-specific sales or deployment constraints. Serve as a primary product point of contact for customer, partner, sales, service, and support questions related to assigned products. Analyze and synthesize product, customer, financial, operational, and installed-base data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and lifecycle implications. Maintain clear product documentation, lifecycle status information, internal guidance, and enablement materials. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Product Management, or a related discipline. 2+ years of product management experience with hardware, embedded systems, connected devices, enterprise devices, or related physical technology products. Experience working with hardware products that require coordination across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, support, services, sales, and go-to-market teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, reconcile, and synthesize data from multiple sources to inform product decisions. Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including engineering, support, sales, services, partners, and customers. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a dynamic environment. We work in a hybrid model. Three days per week in the office is required when not traveling. UKG is unable to offer sponsorship for this role. 3+ years of product management experience with enterprise hardware, connected devices, embedded systems, kiosks, workforce terminals, or customer-deployed technology products. Experience with Workforce Management, Human Capital Management, timekeeping, labor management, payroll, or adjacent enterprise domains. Experience managing hardware product lifecycle activities, including sustaining support, end-of-sale planning, end-of-life readiness, and customer transition planning. Familiarity with global hardware product availability considerations, including regional readiness, supportability, serviceability, import/export considerations, and country-specific sales or deployment constraints. Experience using product, financial, operational, or installed-base data to forecast lifecycle needs, identify customer transition risks, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Experience with Android-based devices, embedded applications, biometric or finger scan technologies, access terminals, workforce terminals, or enterprise edge devices. Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar product management and planning systems. Experience applying AI-assisted tools to improve product operations, customer insight analysis, documentation, data analysis, or portfolio management.
