What You'll Do

As our HVAC Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the performance, development, and success of our HVAC service team. You'll:

• Lead, manage, and hold the HVAC service team accountable
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls
• Partner closely with dispatch to ensure we're getting the right technician to the right call
• Identify underperformance and create clear plans for improvement
• Help create a culture where expectations are clear and great performance is recognized
• Keep the GM updated on department performance, budget projections, and KPIs
• Be available to support the team when an employee is on call and an issue needs to be escalated

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC
• Previous hands-on field experience in the home-service industry
• A leader who is comfortable getting in the truck and into the field with technicians
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills
• Ability to understand and manage performance metrics and KPIs
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
