Description
*This position does not qualify for county benefits and is available to Texas State University UNDERGRADUATES AND GRADUATES ONLY.
- Inspect the progress of park projects that have been awarded county funds.
- Visit both county parks at least once a week to inspect maintenance and quality of leased areas and common areas.
- Assist County Parks Manager with various special projects/programs as needed.
- Scanning historical records to assist implementation of paperless office environment.
- Data entry to support permitting process.
- Perform other duties, as needed, as directed by County Engineer.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. One (1) year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Texas driver’s license is required in order to operate county vehicles. Must be able to provide a 3-year driving history from DPS.
