Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
