Solution Engineering Manager - ARAMIS (m/f/d)
You are ready to take on the following responsibilities:
As a Solution Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering projects for key railway initiatives with a focus on signaling and control technology / ARAMIS. ARAMIS is our central dispatching and traffic management system. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering of an overall solution consisting of numerous subsystems and products.
Your responsibilities also include:
- Managing engineering projects involving complex systems and actively coordinating interfaces with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Planning and coordinating development activities and work packages while ensuring their effective implementation.
- Initiating projects based on concepts developed during the bid phase and driving them into structured execution.
- Analyzing the project environment to identify risks and opportunities at an early stage and implementing appropriate measures.
- Managing stakeholder relations within an international matrix organization and fostering effective collaboration.
- Monitoring costs, progress, and quality at all times and working closely with Project Controlling to ensure project success.
What you bring:
- A completed technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally in development projects.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and experience in international project environments are advantageous.
- A strong interest in complex technical solutions within the mobility and transportation sector.
- A structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style.
- Fluency in German and English, along with strong teamwork skills and resilience.
