Description

Working at Infobip means being part of something truly global. With 75+ offices across six continents, we’re not just building technology — we’re shaping how more than 80% of the world connects and communicates.

As employees, we take pride in contributing to the world’s largest and only full-stack cloud communication platform. But it’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it: with curiosity, passion, and a whole lot of collaboration.

We operate with an AI-first mindset, embedding intelligent tools into our daily workflows to work smarter and more efficiently. Every role here benefits from and contributes to this approach.

If you're looking for meaningful work and challenges that grow you in a culture where people show up with purpose, this is your opportunity.

Let’s build what’s next, together.

Why is this role important at Infobip?

Joining Infobip’s Data Intelligence department as a student means working on real business intelligence use cases that support decision-making across the company. In this role, you will primarily work with Power BI, learn how data is modeled and visualized for business users, and gradually build the foundations needed to contribute to wider data engineering topics in the future.

Our colleagues across the organization need to make crucial decisions every day. As the basis for making those decisions, they require quick, intuitive, meaningful, correct, and consistent data available in near real time. Beyond visualizations and dashboards in Power BI, this data can also support Machine Learning models that provide additional insight and a view into future trends. That's why the field of Data and Analytics is important.

You will work with experienced mentors who will help you learn our tools, processes, and ways of working. The goal is to build your Power BI skills through practical tasks and, depending on business needs and your progress, potentially open a path toward a longer-term student engagement or future junior role at Infobip.
This student role is especially important while we continue migrating reporting and analytics solutions to Power BI. By joining the team, you will help with practical BI development tasks, learn our reporting landscape, and create additional capacity in the team while building knowledge that can later support more advanced data topics.

What you’ll do:

  • Work on real-life business intelligence tasks in Power BI, including understanding stakeholder needs, preparing and validating data, building or improving reports and dashboards, documenting logic, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver reliable insights.

  • Learn how business processes, data sources, and internal systems connect to reporting needs, and how BI developers translate those needs into clear, useful, and maintainable Power BI solutions.

  • Get introduced to how data is collected, transformed, modeled, and used in reporting, with opportunities to gradually learn more advanced data engineering concepts over time.

  • Work primarily with Microsoft Power BI and related data tools, while also getting exposure to Infobip’s products, internal data landscape, and modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.

  • Contribute to BI solutions that improve reporting quality, data availability, and day-to-day decision-making across teams.

  • Work in an agile environment, learn how teams plan and deliver work iteratively, and participate in regular team ceremonies.

More about you:

  • You are curious, proactive, and enjoy exploring software, data, and business problems.

  • You are a student of an IT, engineering, mathematics, information sciences, economics, business, or related field, have valid student rights, and can work through a student contract.

  • You have basic analytical or technical experience, such as working with Power BI, SQL, Excel, Python, or another reporting, scripting, or query tool, and you are motivated to deepen those skills through practical work.

  • You want to understand both the technical and business side of problems.

  • You are available to work onsite from Zagreb or Osijek, with stronger availability preferred during the winter period and flexibility to align your working hours with your student obligations afterwards.

  • You can commit to a regular student work schedule of approximately 20–40 hours per week, with the exact workload agreed based on your availability, team needs, and study obligations.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Have experience with Power BI, SQL, data visualization, reporting, dashboards, student projects, hackathons, workshops, or other activities that show your interest in data and analytics.

  • Have previous experience with internships, student jobs, coursework, or practical projects related to data, analytics, reporting, or software development.

  • Have a GitHub profile, Power BI portfolio, dashboard example, coursework project, or another practical example that shows how you approach data problems.

  • Are fluent in English and comfortable using it in everyday work conversations.
