POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead Site Technician is a field-based role responsible for leading a crew of Field Technicians in the accurate and efficient execution of sealing services at residential and commercial job sites. This position serves as the primary on-site leader, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest quality standards, that job site conditions are properly documented, and that all company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures are followed. The Lead Site Technician is also accountable for the care and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment, timely and accurate reporting, and the professional representation of the company at every customer interaction.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Leadership & Sealing Operations
● Coordinate in preparing the job site for sealing services, including taping around operable windows, doors, air vents, light cutouts, and other penetrations as required.
● Execute all site sealings accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures, ensuring complete coverage and quality at every location.
● Conduct a final quality inspection upon completion of each sealing to verify accuracy before leaving the site.
● Review site specifications and sealing requirements prior to starting each job.
● Assist in loading and unloading equipment required for each job site.
● Become trained and certified in AeroBarrier computer systems and equipment, and independently perform sealings on homes.
Documentation & Reporting
● Complete and upload accurate seal reports immediately after task completion, ensuring all fields are correct and the report is submitted to the designated system within 24 hours.
● Maintain daily site logs documenting existing conditions before and after work, including a minimum of 5 site photographs uploaded each day.
● Submit daily logs to the Branch Manager by the end of each business day.
● Log hours worked daily (start and end times) and submit timesheets by the designated weekly deadline.
● Record and report mileage for each trip daily and compile a monthly mileage report for submission and reimbursement.
● Complete daily Equipment Check and Vehicle Inspection forms.
Vehicle & Equipment Care
● Conduct a visual inspection of the company van each morning and evening to ensure it is clean, organized, and roadworthy.
● Implement a weekly cleaning routine for all company vehicles, including exterior washing and interior organization.
● Maintain a maintenance log documenting cleaning, supplies used, and any repairs needed.
● Maintain a clean and orderly job site environment throughout each engagement.
Safety, Compliance & Professional Standards
● Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures, including the use of required protective equipment at all times.
● Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as all company policies.
● Participate in training and retraining programs as required.
● Professionally represent the company and provide exceptional service to all clients, vendors, and business partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
● High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications a plus.
● Valid driver's license; must be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, as this role requires driving company vehicles.
● Demonstrated ability to lead a small team in a field environment.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
● Ability to accurately complete digital reports, timesheets, and logs using company systems.
● Due to the nature of federal and government contracts, candidate must be able to pass a background check, including drug screening, prior to hire.
● Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment; must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed.
Salary Range: $54,000 - $55,000
