Senior Director of Cardiovascular Strategy & Business Development
Enterprise Services Americas
Siemens Healthineers | Enterprise Services | Americas Strategy Team
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for a health system leader to extend their impact beyond a single organization and help shape the next generation of collaborative partnerships across North and South America. Within Siemens Healthineers, Enterprise Services works alongside Business Lines and Business Areas to strengthen how we bring innovation, services, and strategic partnership together in support of customer transformation. We have seen that when a new level of trust is built across teams and with customers, what can be achieved through true partnership is exceptional—and we are now sharpening that focus in key areas of strategic growth.
Cardiovascular is one of the major clinical focus areas within the Siemens Healthineers Elevate strategy, underscoring its importance to our broader mission of improving health globally. As we expand our Enterprise Services Americas Strategy team, we are looking for a business leader with deep health system experience in the cardiovascular service line who can partner closely with Business Line and Business Area colleagues to help shape differentiated, programmatic approaches that strengthen the customer value proposition and support market growth. This role is designed to complement existing BL and BA strengths by connecting innovation across businesses, aligning around patient pathways, and supporting integrated customer strategies in North America.
What You Will Do
This is a builder’s role with high visibility across Siemens Healthineers. You will work at the intersection of health system strategy, partnership development, and innovation—connecting capabilities across businesses to help shape customer-centered programs that align innovation, services, and measurable outcomes. Success in this role requires deep collaboration with Business Line and Business Area colleagues, ensuring shared approaches to market engagement, innovation planning, and customer value creation while helping translate real-world clinical and operational insight into scalable strategies for growth across North America.
Strategic Initiative Development
Partner with Business Line and Business Area teams to identify, develop, and advance short- and long-term strategic initiatives aligned with North America Enterprise Services priorities, with an emphasis on cardiovascular opportunities where customer needs, patient pathways, and market opportunity intersect
Propose and evaluate business cases for new initiatives, ensuring fit with market needs, customer priorities, and the broader Enterprise Services strategy and portfolio
Work collaboratively with existing Business Line teams on current and future technology innovation, helping translate those capabilities into differentiated programmatic offerings and sustained engagement models for customers
Apply a structured, disciplined approach to innovation in partnership with product, clinical, commercial, and BL/BA stakeholders to evaluate, prioritize, and pilot integrated offerings that improve clinical, operational, and financial performance for customers
Go-to-Market & Commercial Execution
Collaborate with Business Line, Business Area, Program BD, and sales teams to support go-to-market approaches for Enterprise Services offerings across health system environments, ensuring alignment with existing market responsibilities and customer engagement models
Help shape the commercial narrative and field enablement tools that allow Enterprise Services sales teams to engage health system leadership with greater credibility, relevance, and confidence
Contribute to commercial planning for new program launches in close partnership with BL/BA, Program BD, and sales teams, with a focus on enabling coordinated market approaches aligned across North America.
Partner with Program BD, sales, and BL/BA teams to gather market feedback, refine program positioning, and help connect existing and future innovation priorities to customer-facing strategies that drive differentiation and market share
Collaborate and align across all North American commercial teams on thought leadership, conference strategy, and targeted demand generation efforts that strengthen market visibility and engagement
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Navigate and collaborate across a complex matrix of stakeholders across North America sales leadership, Business Line and Business Area leadership, global Enterprise Services leadership, and the North America executive team to advance collaborative, cross-business strategies
Serve as a strategic connector across Siemens Healthineers stakeholders—including Business Lines, Business Areas, Enterprise Services, and third-party partners—to align around patient pathways, shared priorities, and integrated value propositions for customers
In partnership with Business Line, Enterprise Services ,and executive leadership, engage health system clients as a strategic advisor on Enterprise Services capabilities, program design, and partnership strategy
Capability Building & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead development of Enterprise Services capabilities, offerings, and program structures aligned with Business Line and Business Area priorities in North America
Lead cross-functional initiatives to align program priorities, improve pipeline visibility, and support shared execution across Enterprise Services, BL/BA teams, and commercial stakeholders
Partner with ES Finance to develop rigorous business plans for new program launches and monitor performance against original business-case assumptions and targets
Contribute to a culture of strategic rigor, clinical credibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
Who You Are :
Required Experience
Business leadership experience within a cardiovascular or cardiology service line at a U.S. health system—as a service line director, administrative dyad partner, VP of Cardiology, or equivalent operational leader—providing the clinical, operational, and strategic grounding this role requires
10+ years of healthcare experience spanning service line operations, strategy, transformation, growth planning, or business development
Proven track record in developing and managing business cases, financial plans, and strategic growth initiatives with clearly defined objectives and expected returns
Experience influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed organization
Master's degree required; MBA, MHA, or clinical advanced degree preferred
Strongly Preferred
Demonstrated breadth of business leadership within a cardiovascular or cardiology service line at a U.S. health system—including operational, strategic, or programmatic accountability beyond procedural or lab management—such as service line planning, physician alignment, growth strategy, or cross-functional program development
Familiarity with partnership-based healthcare service models, strategic services offerings, or value-oriented health system partnerships; direct knowledge of Siemens Healthineers Enterprise Services is extremely helpful, but not required
Background in healthcare strategy, innovation, or program design, with exposure to areas such as digital health, population health, or imaging-enabled care models
Track record of building strategic growth initiatives, market-facing programs, or expansion efforts across multiple clinical or operational domains
Experience structuring strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or alliances with medtech, healthcare services, or health system partners
Strong understanding of health system and customer needs in the U.S., with broader awareness of market dynamics across Canada and Latin America considered a plus
What Sets You Apart
You have led within a cardiovascular service line and can engage health system leaders as a peer, not just as a vendor
You are equally comfortable in a clinical department meeting, a C-suite strategy discussion, and a program design workshop
You bring structure and rigor to ambiguous problems while staying grounded in what health systems actually need
You are energized by building programs, partnerships, and capabilities that expand what's possible
