Description
SCOPESupport the delivery and coordination of passive fire protection projects.Assist Project Managers, site teams and fire stopping operatives.Plan site setups and ensure compliance with QSHE standards.Provide site-based compliance information and support audits.Work with Joblogic, Northgate and accreditation systems.KNOWLEDGEMinimum qualifications for this role include:Strong knowledge of passive fire stopping, fire doors and associated products.Understanding of construction, contract management and safe working practices.Knowledge of current legislation, compliance requirements and ISO systems.Understanding of health and safety regulations within construction.Current First Aid certificate.ESSENTIAL CRITERIAExtensive passive fire protection experience.SMSTS and CSCS Black Card.FIRAS or BM TRADA accreditation.Fire door and fire stopping experience.NVQ Level 3+ in Passive Fire Protection.DESIRABLE CRITERIAExperience working on large live projects.Knowledge of passive fire regulations and compliance auditing.SKILLSStrong communication and relationship-building skills.Excellent planning and organisational abilities.Research, reporting and record-keeping skills.Ability to use digital systems and software effectively.Ability to motivate and support teams.OTHERAbility to travel to multiple sites.Flexibility to undertake occasional out-of-hours work.DUTIESOversee day-to-day passive fire projects.Provide technical support to fire stopping operatives.Conduct audits and maintain compliance documentation.Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.Support project teams in meeting QSHE and client requirements.Maintain passive fire accreditations and compliance standards.Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.Promote a strong culture of health, safety and quality.WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH USWe offer a supportive workplace with excellent benefits, including:24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).5% employer pension contribution.Life insurance (4x annual salary).Health and wellbeing support.Training and development opportunities.Cycle to Work and EV schemes.Company social events and an inclusive culture.Join a team that values your wellbeing, supports your development and invests in your future.
