Job Summary:
The Vice President, HR AI Enablement leads the HR aspects of our enterprise AI acceleration initiative. This includes ensuring workforce readiness, enabling adoption of AI tools and processes, and aligning talent strategies to support AI-forward business transformation. This role also oversees enterprise Talent Management, Learning, and Leadership Development functions, ensuring our workforce has the skills, development, and support to succeed in a rapidly evolving AI enabled workplace. In addition, this role oversees HR Business Partners dedicated to our HR and IT functions, providing strategic guidance to support leaders in the maximization of team performance and productivity. This role serves as a key member of the human resources leadership team and provides leadership in all aspects of HR AI. The position reports to the CHRO & SVP Communications and will lead a team of HR Leaders and individual contributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and drive the enterprise workforce strategy, defining how employees and AI work together to improve operations, elevate decision-making, and unlock productivity. Design frameworks that clearly specify ethical, effective, and accountable use of AI across the organization.
Drive the vision, governance, and cross-functional alignment to integrate AI into business processes that maximizes value, manages risk, and supports continuous improvement, including setting priorities for AI adoption, aligning technology leadership with business goals, ensuring funding and resources for AI initiatives, and fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and adaptability in AI collaborations.
Provide HR leadership in enterprise-wide AI initiatives and partner with business leaders and global process owners to translate initiatives and insights into actionable strategies. Act as a domain authority in HR, providing guidance on our workforce strategy, AI investments and roadmap prioritization.
Build the AI-forward workforce value measurement system, establishing baseline KPI’s, defining outcomes and efficiency metrics, and validating impact and ROI.
Manage the evolving landscape of HR related AI legal and regulatory compliance and stay abreast of technology advancements and opportunities.
Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide Talent Management strategies, incorporating AI tools to improve talent management, development, and retention.
Accelerate the utilization of AI solutions to enhance decision-making in performance management, succession planning, and workforce development.
Oversee Learning & Development programs, including the design of AI-enabled learning pathways that enhance growth opportunities for all employees.
Direct Leadership Development initiatives to prepare leaders to manage change, navigate complexity and drive high performance.
Manage HR Business Partners supporting HR and IT, ensuring delivery of strategic, data informed guidance to maximize employee experience and business performance and productivity.
Required Experience / Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or other accredited fields of study
10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR technology transformation, leading enterprise-wide talent strategies, strategic change management, employee experience, or enterprise enablement; including required experience leading a team of HR professionals.
Proven track record leading enterprise-scale business transformations that leverage artificial intelligence, automation, data, and/or digital technologies to fundamentally improve HR and business outcomes.
Demonstrated success redesigning operating models, optimizing end-to-end workflows, and rearchitecting technology ecosystems to improve efficiency, scalability, agility, and business outcomes.
Proven experience designing skills-based talent and capability models and leading enterprise workforce upskilling and reskilling strategies to build future-ready organizational capabilities.
Demonstrated success designing and executing enterprise-wide talent strategies that integrate AI-enabled or digital tools and insights to accelerate talent development, strengthen retention, and improve workforce outcomes.
Proven ability to establish an HR AI value measurement system, including baseline KPIs outcome and efficiency metrics, impact validation, and measurement of business value and ROI.
Demonstrated understanding of AI governance frameworks, data privacy standards, responsible AI principles, and cybersecurity protocols required to safely and effectively deploy AI applications across the enterprise.
Preferred Experience:
Advanced Degree such as an MBA
Experience leading HR, technology, or business transformation within complex industrial, manufacturing, energy, or other asset-intensive organizations with large, distributed workforces.
5+ years of HR or technology consulting with a leading consulting firm advising Fortune 1000 companies on complex HR or IT strategies, transformations and implementations.
Proven ability to leverage technology, data, and AI to enhance the employee experience, strengthen employee listening strategies, and modernize HR products, services, and offerings.
Early-career or recent experience as an HR Business Partner supporting HR, IT, or other corporate functions, with demonstrated understanding of business operations, workforce needs, and organizational dynamics.
Demonstrated experience leading or transforming an IT organization toward an AI-forward operating model, including establishing AI strategy and governance, embedding AI capabilities across the technology portfolio, and developing the talent and culture required to scale AI adoption.
