Responsibilities

Mammo Tech Job Summary 

*Clinic based position

• Operates mammography equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing mammography exams.
• Determines how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.
• Follow proper procedures
• Helps move patients on and off the imaging table and pushes wheelchairs/stretchers without problems.
• Establishes a self-study program to maintain current knowledge base and meets continued education requirements.
• All staff is expected to read their email regularly to keep informed of immediate policy, regulatory or unit procedure changes.
• Represents the company in a positive, respectful manner when dealing with customers and vendors
• Complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlines
• Enforces organizational and departmental policies without creating negative reactions
• Lends support and guidance to employees on new processes
• Oversees Regulatory compliance with the FDA and ACR

Qualifications

Mammo Tech Job Qualifications

·        ARRT registered RT-(R) (M) and meet MQSA standards for performing mammography.

·         Maintains certification in BLS.

·         Personal computer skills

·         Good verbal communication skills

·         Display critical thinking and decision-making skills.
