Salary: $124,273.70 - $128,301.89 + super.

About the role

• Xavier 8 North is a surgical ward supporting patients across specialties including orthopaedics, plastic surgery, urology and gynaecology

• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the clinical education needs of staff working within a clinical environment in collaboration with the Nursing Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Stream Manager

• Provide equitable access to educational support and resources for all permanent and transient staff to enhance clinical knowledge, skills and competence

• Apply evidence-based practice principles to the development and review of policies and procedures within the clinical environment and broader organisation

• Deliver current, relevant and evidence-based clinical education to support safe, effective and high-quality patient care

About you

• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

• Relevant clinical or education post-graduate qualifications and at least 12 months experience working in the relevant clinical area related to your qualifications, or four years post-registration experience including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment

• Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools and approaches including e-learning
