About this Role
The purpose of the Supply System Key user role is to ensure continuity of all Supply Planning systems through the successful implementation of Master data, system general controls. Role should support correct technical implementation, conducts functional tests, design and conducts training, and facilitates the live start of any Project or to replace any legacy systems along with managing some part of business as DRP. This role should be the main contact for questions and problems during the operation of the new/replacement IT solution. Key user should support in resolving features of the new/existing system, accompany the introduction process, strengthen the acceptance of the software or service among employees and remain important contacts for users even after go-live.
You will be responsible for:
Key Accountabilities
Managing Distribution Planning (DRP) – Imports
- Managing Distribution Planning (DRP) – Imports
- Rolling 18-month shipment plan for all imported spirits (Weekly and Monthly buckets)
- Reporting of KPIs, monthly calls, weekly health tracker and/or risk assessments, SKU exceptions.
- Coordination of supply of imported products with manufacturing plants and logistics team
- Manage for value across the Market’s Supply Chain (E.g., minimise write-offs and AFs, etc.)
- Act as Single point of contact to the business for optimum supply of product into market to ensure optimum inventory and customer service
- Identify risks and/or opportunities to the overall supply plan and implement essential changes and communicate effectively to key stakeholders
- Responsible for maintaining consistent inventory management practices in line with meeting demand requirements, identifying solutions to mitigate risks and improve overall tracking.
- Conduct root cause analysis of multiple information streams
- Manage the phasing in & out of products during its product life cycle
- Management of slow-moving stock with the objective of minimising the write-off of obsolete finished products
- Monthly Supply Review input for imported produced spirit
- Managing owning master data for respective market individual owns.
Act as a Key User
- Be the expert at the site for Supply & Demand planning applications and SAP transactions.
- Solves transactional problems encountered by users, in partnership with local IT resources.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) on a periodic basis as requested. SIT sessions could be at global, regional, or local locations, thus requiring travel in the first two cases.
- Attend Key User Training with the objective of learning the new work processes / transactions for their specified area of responsibility.
- Interacts with Key Users from other work process areas within the site to solve system issues
- Interacts with Key Users from other regions who have similar responsibilities to exchange learnings and discuss issues
- Conducts End User training, coaches End Users on the proper use of standard work processes and transactions
- An additional role for Key Users could be as leaders of implementing EAP’s (Emergency Alternate Procedures) in the event of system reliability issues.
- Ensure Master Data Health & accuracy in system.
- Ensure accuracy of all Supply & Demand reports and dashboards
- Benchmarking of all markets w.r.t systems & Tools & identify opportunities for Streamlining.
- Increase the Adaptability of Tools & systems in Market.
- Become Ready for Project Voyager & Support successful Voyager implementation in APAC.
- Identify, design and implement systems to improve processes and operational policies.
- Coordinate the regular testing of products to address faults and provide evaluations to improve them.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Expertise in Demand/Supply planning systems SAP APO, S4 HANA, OMP, etc.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP Supply, Demand planning applications.
- Baseline understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes; Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Inventory Planning, Conversion, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service
- Strong functional knowledge in User experience, Design thinking concepts
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Good English communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
- Proficient in MS applications e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
