The Position:

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders while providing hands-on support across employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, benefits administration, leave management, performance management, and HR operations. This role requires a highly responsive, service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a strong sense of urgency, and consistently delivers exceptional follow-through. The HRBP must effectively partner with employees, frontline leaders, managers, and executive leadership while balancing competing priorities and delivering an outstanding employee and candidate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
  • Advise leaders on employment-related matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, promotions, organizational changes, workforce planning, and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws, company policies, and HR practices
  • Administer employee leave programs and workplace accommodations, including eligibility review, required notices and documentation, coordination with employees and leaders, accurate tracking, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies
  • Support employee development through performance management guidance, career pathing initiatives, and employee and manager training programs
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle processes from hire through separation, ensuring accurate documentation, required HR system updates, compliance, timely handoffs, and a positive employee experience
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, conduct audits, generate reports, administer HR service delivery processes, and leverage HR metrics to support business decisions
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer coordination with the hiring manager and Director, Human Resources, onboarding, and new hire integration activities
  • Partner with hiring managers to meet workforce needs while delivering a positive candidate experience and promoting the organization as an employer of choice
  • Lead proactive sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, AI-enabled recruiting tools, direct outreach, and traditional recruiting channels to identify and engage top talent
  • Recruit across all levels of the organization, including hourly/non-exempt, professional, technical, management, and executive-level positions
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs through active and passive candidate engagement strategies
  • Leverage technology and artificial intelligence tools, including Microsoft Copilot and other recruiting technologies, to improve sourcing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and candidate experience
  • Support employee benefits administration, including enrollment, employee communication, vendor coordination, compliance activities, and issue resolution
  • Support employee engagement, culture initiatives, and strategic HR projects that enhance the employee experience and support organizational objectives
  • Support special HR projects and organizational initiatives, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, supporting employee relations, investigations, full-cycle recruiting, leave administration, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across a variety of positions, including non-exempt, professional, technical, leadership, and executive-level roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer coordination, and onboarding
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations relevant to employee relations, investigations, leave administration, workplace accommodations, recruiting, benefits administration, and HR operations, including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA
  • Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and related technologies to maintain employee data, manage recruiting workflows, conduct audits, generate reports, support HR service delivery, and drive operational efficiency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, Microsoft Copilot, and other technology tools used to improve productivity, communication, research, sourcing, and operational effectiveness
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networking platforms, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools to identify and engage passive and active candidates
  • Proven ability to effectively manage high-volume workloads and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional service, accuracy, responsiveness, follow-through, and attention to detail

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex information into practical, actionable, and approachable guidance for employees and leaders

  • Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with employees, managers, candidates, vendors, and internal stakeholders
