We are seeking Financial Service Cybersecurity Risk & Resilience Consultant to join our rapidly growing UK & Ireland Financial Services Cybersecurity Practice.

Role Responsibilities:
As part of our Financial Services Cyber Security practice, you will help leading banks, insurers, capital markets firms, and payment providers strengthen their resilience to cyber threats, technology failures, and operational disruptions.
You will work with clients to identify, assess, and manage cyber and technology risk while supporting compliance with evolving regulatory and operational resilience requirements.
You will:
- Support clients in identifying, assessing, and managing cyber, technology, and operational resilience risks across critical business services and technology environments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cyber resilience, operational resilience, and technology risk management frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, and resilience evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities.
- Support the design and execution of scenario testing, cyber exercises, tabletop exercises, and resilience validation activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of security, technology, and operational controls against regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Contribute to the identification of important business services, impact tolerances, and supporting assets within operational resilience programmes.
- Support third-party and supply chain risk management activities, including security assessments and due diligence reviews.
- Help clients prepare for, respond to, and learn from cyber incidents and operational disruption events.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies, controls, and implementation plans.
- Produce clear risk reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and governance forums.
- Work collaboratively with client teams across security, technology, risk, compliance, and business functions to drive resilience outcomes.
Support the delivery of client engagements, including workshops, assessments, maturity reviews, and transformation programmes
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cyber security, technology risk, operational resilience, risk management, or a related field.
- Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Understanding of cyber risk management, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response principles.
- Knowledge of common security and risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, CIS Controls, and FFIEC guidance.
- Familiarity with financial services regulatory requirements relating to technology risk and resilience.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, control reviews, audits, compliance assessments, or governance activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop practical recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, or risk management outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CBCI, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting regulatory programmes involving PRA, FCA, DORA, NIS2, ECB, EBA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of operational resilience requirements, including important business services, impact tolerances, and scenario testing.
- Experience with business continuity management, disaster recovery, crisis management, or cyber resilience testing.
- Understanding of cloud risk, third-party risk management, and supply chain security.
- Familiarity with banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, or wealth management operating environments.
- Previous consulting experience or experience working directly with business, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
