Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.Eversource is looking for a Associate Analyst, Transmission in Westwood, MA or Berlin, CT or Hooksett, NH. Individual will participate in the planning, preparation, and review of NPCC regulatory filings as well as post-filing response. The individual will interface with Independent System Operator – New England (ISO-NE) and participate in the coordination of required filings. Activities include coordination and, working with transmission operations to ensure proper reporting of NERC and ISO-NE requirements. Coordinates reporting on the groups quarterly key performance indicator goals. In addition, the individual will work with operations, planning, engineering, and other Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide timely response for Eversource (ES) regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for verifying compliance with engineering/test/maintenance standards and requirements by working with and reviewing records submitted by SMEs. Compliance reviews include applicable NERC Reliability Standards, ISO-NE Operating Procedures and NPCC Directories.
Assign and follow up on SME tasks through Archer (compliance application).
Prepare and discuss NERC Event Analysis reports with SME’s.
Conduct and coordinate Self Assessments, Reportability Determinations and Internal Controls Evaluations by relying on individual technical knowledge and support of the Eversource SMEs.
Responsible for providing analytical support to the Manager of Reliability Compliance. Coordinate the necessary information gathering in support of all NERC, NPCC and ISO-NE related filings.
Assist in maintaining up to date records of all applicable rules and regulations to which transmission is subject in the Archer.

Oversees and provides input to regulatory filings for Transmission.
Provides support to the group in preparation of presentations to management, regulators, and other audiences.
Builds and maintains networks of key contacts across the SME groups within Eversource.
Creates/maintains/updates compliance related trainings such as CIP
Responsible to develop knowledge and across NERC standards applicable to Eversource and become SME to standards assigned.
Participate in NATF/EEI and NPCC groups as assigned.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Familiarity with utility industry preferred, especially Transmission.
Database management expertise, knowledge or excel, word and PowerPoint essential.
Experience in regulatory reporting is desirable.
Demonstrates competency and proficiency in oral and written communications.
Demonstrates strong analytical reasoning skills, ability to apply knowledge to solve problems, responds promptly and deals constructively with other employees.
Understanding of electrical power engineering principal’s desirable.
Strong team building skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field; or related combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Zero (0) to three (3) years related experience is required for the associate level.

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
