Role Summary
- A Senior Forward Deployed Engineer works directly with customers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions in real customer environments. Unlike traditional product engineers who build platforms for all customers, FDEs deliver tailored solutions for specific customer business processes and enterprise systems

- Design and build AI-driven workflows, agents, and automations using the UiPath platform.
- Develop AI Agents using UiPath Maestro and Agent Builder.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation and AI solutions.
- Extend platform functionality using APIs, SDKs, connectors, and integrations.
- Debug and resolve issues across orchestration, AI inference, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Drive customer implementations from design through production deployment.
- Identify risks, communicate blockers, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute reusable components, implementation frameworks, and best practices.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Mentor engineers and help improve technical standards.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills in:
- Python
- TypeScript (or similar modern programming languages)
- Experience building APIs and integrations.
- Cloud platform experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems and automation platforms.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage technical workstreams and customer engagements.
- Experience in solution design and troubleshooting complex systems.
Preferred Skills
- Applied AI and Machine Learning experience.
- Prompt Engineering. · LLM experience (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
- Agentic AI and multi-agent architectures.
- Distributed systems and orchestration frameworks.
- RPA and automation technology experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields (preferred).
