Hotel Maintenance Technician

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your skills will ensure our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests and staff. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances as needed

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces and special projects as required

- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of hotel assets

- Wall repair / painting, mudding etc

- Minor electrical knowledge

- Plumbing knowledge

- Pool knowledge a plus. (willing to send to pool school if necessary)

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role

- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks

- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

- This position is on your feet all day

- Clean driving record a plus but not necessary

- MUST have reliable transportation
