Function:
The Private Banking Relationship Specialist is a key member of S&T’s Private Banking team, delivering high-touch operational support and exceptional client service to drive relationship growth and team effectiveness. This role provides critical assistance to Private Banking Representatives and the group leadership team across the footprint with a focus on the Indiana, Altoona, and Greensburg markets. The position blends proactive account and relationship management with strategic team support, while fostering professional development within the Wealth & Private Banking division.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Account & Client Service Excellence
· Learn products, services and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
· Contribute to the growth and retention of deposit and loan customers.
· Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust-ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs
· Process and renew Certificates of Deposit (CDs) with accuracy and attention to detail
· Efficiently open and close client accounts while ensuring a seamless and professional onboarding experience
· Manage follow-up on ULOC portfolio coordinating between private banker and the underwriting team
· Oversee Median Link system updates and related follow-up activities.
Strategic Support and Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Provide dedicated, high-level support to Private Banking Representatives and their clients
· Partner with lines of business groups to meet banking needs and deliver outstanding client service
· Serve as a direct support to the Director of Wealth & Private Banking
· Assist in the planning and coordination of team activities, events, and strategic initiatives
· Support the preparation and execution of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and related leadership initiatives
Education:
Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent. This position is responsible for and/or has the potential to take a residential mortgage loan application, as defined by the SAFE Act, and offer or negotiate the terms of the loan on behalf of the Bank through another employee, a broker, or an automated system.
Experience:
Requires two to five years general experience and two to five years specialized experience.
Physical Demands:
This work can be performed at multiple locations. Operates a keypad device 60-70%, electronic equipment 0-10% of the day. Traveling 20-30%, 20-30% overnight stays. Primary parts of the body involved include fingers, thumb, hand, wrist(s), elbows. Sitting 50-60%, standing 20-30%, reaching above shoulders 0-10% of the day. Routinely lifts 0-10lbs 0-10%, maximum lift 40-50lbs 0-10% of the day. This work can be performed with reasonable accommodations request.

Salary Range:
$36,438.00 - $80,850.00
