Description
Temporary position for 4 months, with possibility of extension.
Some roles are measured by completed tasks. The trainer’s role is measured by transformations. Every day, you’ll have the opportunity to train, transform and rethink what no longer serves a purpose, reshape what needs to evolve and even completely overhaul how things are done. But you’re not doing all of these things for you— you’re doing them to serve our members and our clients every day. It is a discreet but powerful role of influence. You don’t seek the spotlight—you shine it on the right people. We believe that a trainer’s impact is measured by the learner’s success, and not by their own performance. If you share that belief, then this position is for you. As an expert trainer, you’re responsible for delivering training programs to meet the needs of learners in the Individual Insurance Division, specifically the New Business and Underwriting Administrative Department. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Deliver engaging training sessions in virtual, in-person or hybrid formats.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions and practical exercises to promote learning and knowledge retention.
- Adapt teaching approaches to learners’ different needs.
- Help employees develop their skills and apply their knowledge on the job.
- Create an inclusive environment that promotes the participation and engagement of diverse groups.
- Provide individualized support when necessary.
- Simultaneously manage multiple training activities while respecting established priorities.
- Help improve the experience of employees, members and clients through quality training activities.
- Help analyze training needs, and contribute to the design, revision and continuous improvement of educational content.
- Make sure that training is relevant and effective by incorporating learning objectives, field feedback, and updated operations, processes and systems.
- Document the findings, observations and results of the projects or initial rollouts.
- Support training activities by coordinating certain logistical aspects, keeping educational tools and resources up to date, and using learning platforms and collaborative tools.
