Job Summary

The Senior Analyst - Integrations & Mapping is responsible for designing, documenting, and managing data integrations, mappings, and business rules that support the movement of information across Advancement systems. Reporting to the Director of Data Integrity & Governance, this role serves as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring data flows accurately, consistently, and securely between platforms.

The Senior Analyst partners with Advancement Technology, Data Governance, ITS, and business stakeholders to document integration requirements, define mapping standards, troubleshoot data issues, and support the successful implementation of system enhancements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity and supporting a connected advancement technology ecosystem.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, data integration, business analysis, CRM administration, or related field.
• Experience documenting data mappings, business rules, and integration requirements.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, system integrations, and data flow concepts.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education advancement or nonprofit fundraising.
• Experience with Salesforce, integration platforms, middleware tools, or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, data transformation, and system testing.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations.
• Knowledge of data governance and information management practices.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Integration Design & Data Mapping

Develop and maintain data mappings, transformation rules, and integration documentation that support the exchange of information across Advancement systems. Ensure mappings accurately reflect business requirements and data governance standards. Serve as the authoritative resource for data mappings and integration documentation.

Business Analysis & Requirements Documentation

Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify integration requirements, and document business rules that support system functionality and data consistency.

Integration Support & Troubleshooting

Investigate data issues, integration failures, and system discrepancies. Coordinate with Advancement Technology and ITS to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that improve data reliability. Support migration projects and large-scale system enhancements.

Data Flow Governance & Documentation

Maintain documentation related to integrations, business rules, data definitions, and system dependencies. Support governance efforts by ensuring transparency and consistency across data movement processes.

Project Support & Continuous Improvement

Participate in technology initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvement efforts. Recommend opportunities to simplify integrations, improve efficiency, and strengthen data quality. Develop user stories, use cases and functional specifications for ITS developer to enhance integrations.

Expected Hiring Range:

$99,010.00 - $143,567.50

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
