 Join a team transforming oncology care through innovative AI and digital solutions. In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of emerging technologies that enhance clinical operations, patient experience, and business outcomes. As a senior individual contributor, you will partner with business and technical stakeholders to analyze processes, evaluate technology opportunities, coordinate pilots, and provide data-driven recommendations that support responsible AI adoption across healthcare operations.

What You'll Do

·       Lead business and process analysis efforts to identify, assess, and support AI, automation, and emerging technology opportunities across Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and/or Patient Journey domains.

 

·       Analyze operational workflows, business processes, and stakeholder needs to identify improvement opportunities and define measurable business outcomes.

 

·       Translate operational and business challenges into structured problem statements, business requirements, success metrics, KPIs, and value realization plans.

 

·       Develop business cases and support prioritization decisions by evaluating expected benefits, operational impacts, risks, and implementation considerations.

 

·       Evaluate AI, automation, and technology solutions for workflow fit, scalability, integration feasibility, operational readiness, and overall business value.

 

·       Coordinate pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives from planning through execution, including timelines, stakeholder alignment, risks, testing activities, deliverables, and success criteria.

 

·       Gather, document, validate, and maintain business requirements, process impacts, user needs, workflow documentation, and functional specifications to support solution implementation.

 

·       Partner with clinical, operational, technology, analytics, and vendor teams to align objectives, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and support successful solution delivery and adoption.

 

·       Monitor pilot and implementation performance, track KPIs and business outcomes, analyze results, and develop recommendations for leadership regarding scaling, optimization, and future investment.

 

·       Support change management and operational readiness activities by helping stakeholders understand new capabilities, workflow changes, and expected business impacts.

 

·       Serve as a senior individual contributor who influences outcomes through analysis, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and subject matter expertise rather than direct program ownership or enterprise strategy leadership.

 

·       Provide ongoing support for AI initiatives across RCM and/or Patient Journey functions to help ensure solutions deliver intended operational and business value.

 

·       Apply healthcare operations knowledge, particularly within patient access, patient engagement, revenue cycle, and healthcare technology environments, to inform requirements, solution evaluation, and implementation planning.

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, technology consulting, healthcare operations, digital transformation, innovation, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects, pilots, or strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated business and process analysis experience, including requirements gathering and workflow evaluation.
• Experience evaluating technology solutions and making data-driven recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple business functions.
• Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities in complex environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting recommendations to leadership.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with AI, generative AI, machine learning, automation, or other emerging technologies.
• Healthcare industry experience, particularly within oncology, provider operations, or healthcare technology.
• Experience conducting vendor evaluations, technology assessments, or proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Familiarity with EHR platforms, healthcare workflows, revenue cycle, or clinical operations.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and pilot governance practices.
• Experience supporting digital transformation or innovation programs.
• Experience working with data analytics, performance metrics, and business case development.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority.

• In office requirement, we are Flex and Connect with 2 days a week in office.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
