About the role:
As a Commercial Product Manager supporting our retirement solutions, you will help shape and enhance products that serve retirement plan providers, financial institutions, and participants. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support product strategy, market readiness, client needs, and business objectives throughout the product lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to build product management expertise while contributing to innovative retirement technology solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support product strategy and roadmap execution for retirement solutions products and services.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize client, market, and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, compliance, sales, and implementation teams to deliver product enhancements.
- Assist in defining business cases, product requirements, and success metrics for new initiatives.
- Support product launches, go-to-market activities, and commercialization efforts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and emerging client needs.
- Participate in project planning, implementation, testing, and change management activities.
- Ensure product features align with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
- Communicate product updates, priorities, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and clients.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management methodologies and agile delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to gather requirements, document business needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement, and project coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience supporting retirement technology platforms, defined contribution plans, or wealth management products.
- Knowledge of retirement industry regulations, trends, and participant servicing requirements.
- Experience working on cross-functional technology implementation or transformation projects.
- Exposure to retirement investment products, managed accounts, target date funds, or retirement income solutions.
- Partnership and/or vendor integration experience.
- Familiarity with agile tools and project management platforms.
- Product management, agile, or project management certifications.
- Experience using data and client insights to influence product decisions and enhancements.
