Days, varying hours between 7a - 5:00p
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides clerical, operational, and customer service support within a long-term care pharmacy environment. Assists with inventory management, record maintenance, order processing support, and other non-dispensing pharmacy operations. Maintains accurate documentation, supports efficient workflow, and helps ensure timely service to long-term care facilities and patients. Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills while performing assigned duties in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
What you will do:
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to provide a remarkable experience for patients, visitors, and team members.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment.
- Tears down and processes pharmacy salvage, including sorting and preparing items for proper disposal or return.
- Receives, organizes, and stocks pharmacy inventory and supplies in designated storage areas.
- Assists with inventory management, including rotating stock and identifying outdated or damaged products for review.
- Bags and totes completed prescription orders and signs off on packing lists as required.
- Prepares completed prescriptions and supplies for delivery, pickup, or shipment according to established procedures. Note: no medication preparation or filling.
- Files, scans, and maintains pharmacy records and documentation.
- Attends meetings, training sessions, and departmental education as required.
- Performs other clerical, housekeeping, and operational support duties as assigned.
- Trains new staff to perform pharmacy clerk responsibilities.
- Participates in the annual inventory process and other inventories as needed.
- Appropriately utilizes downtime to assist Department operations.
- Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships. Approaches conflict in a constructive manner. Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
- Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, colleagues, and visitors to Trinity Health. Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriate private places.

- Assumes responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner, to assure personal safety and that of coworkers, and to report all preventable hazards and unsafe practices immediately to management.
