UB Greensfelder has an opening for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Human Resources Department in the Cleveland or St. Louis office. This position is responsible for owning the full-cycle recruitment process for staff positions across all firm offices, while providing support for attorney recruiting initiatives under the leadership of the Talent Acquisition Manager. The Specialist role partners with hiring managers, HR, and firm leadership to attract, assess, and hire high-quality talent that aligns with the firm's culture and business objectives.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for staff recruiting, managing the candidate experience from requisition approval through onboarding. The Specialist role also advances employer branding, talent pipeline development, data driven recruiting strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all exempt and non-exempt staff positions across all firm offices.
- Develop and post job advertisements across targeted channels (job boards, LinkedIn, niche industry sites, internal postings) tailored to each position.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, professional associations, employee referrals, job boards, and networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews (with TA Assistant) and gather feedback from interview teams.
- Prepare and recommend employment offer terms and assist with presenting candidate offers.
- Support pre-employment activities, background checks, and new hire logistics (e.g., coordinating with IT/Facilities for workspace and systems setup).
- Create and conduct new hire orientations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with search firms and other external recruitment sources.
- Maintain accurate candidate data within the applicant tracking system and track recruiting metrics.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for attorney recruiting initiatives.
- Support summer associate and internship program logistics.
- Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience.
Qualified Applicants Will Have:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Three to five years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting across multiple departments or locations.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct competency-based and behavioral interviews and to evaluate candidates against defined success criteria..
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
Preferred
- Professional services, legal, financial services, or corporate recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting legal support staff, administrative professionals, or business professionals.
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
