Summary of the Job:
About This Role:
Brokerage Platform Trading & Support
- Serve as primary trader and contact for the OSM brokerage platform across approximately 1,200 advisory accounts representing approximately $550MM in AUM including buys, sells, and rebalancing. Maintain documentation and reporting to support RIA compliance requirements
- Complete annual investment reviews in accordance with established procedures
- Partner with the Broker Dealer to troubleshoot issues and support efficient, up-to-date processes
- Support advisors with account questions regarding model selection, cash transactions, and related topics
Investment Management Operational Support
- Provide support and backup coverage for Investment Management platforms
- Update mutual fund models in trading platform
- Monitor and document proxy voting
- Monitor operational results and report gaps to manager for resolution
Investment Committee & Cross-Functional Involvement
- Attend investment committees, provide operational input as requested, and develop reporting and analysis to support investment committee decision making
Process Improvement
- Participate in the review and redesign of trading and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Identify opportunities to improve trading and operational workflows; discuss recommendations with manager
- Follow established procedures and escalate exceptions appropriately
- Seek out opportunities to expand knowledge and capabilities beyond current responsibilities, contributing to overall team performance
Advisor & Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Contribute subject matter knowledge for investment operations within cross-functional settings
- Review process and product feedback after enhancements to identify breakdowns or improvement opportunities; advocate for changes with relevant project teams
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings and contribute operational insight to strategic discussions
- Ensure cross-functional partners are aware of operational dependencies and timelines; follow through on commitments and communicate early when circumstances change
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and deliver reporting and analysis to support investment committee decision-making
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis requested by senior leadership including the COO, CIO, Risk, and Wealth Management leadership
- Use data and analytical tools to identify trends, surface operational insights, and support sound decision-making
- Openly manage stakeholder expectations when completion of deliverables is delayed; communicate early with proposed solutions to minimize impact
Key Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Advent APX/Moxy, RJ UWP or equivalent trading systems; knowledge of TrustDesk; understanding of the securities settlement process
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with CFA Institute performance standards
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools; ability to use data to identify trends, question assumptions, and drive solutions
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to anticipate information needs and share critical updates with varied audiences
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across multiple business units; engage cross-functional partners and works cooperatively within a team environment
- Initiative & Accountability: Takes initiative on assigned tasks and seeks guidance when encountering new situations. Communicates clearly and keeps stakeholders informed. Manages multiple priorities with periodic manager check-ins.
- Adaptability: Adjusts effectively to changing priorities and operational demands; maintains a solutions-focused outlook and helps colleagues navigate change
- Learning Orientation: Committed to continuous professional development; stays current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging tools relevant to investment operations

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 1+ years Wealth Management and/or Operations experience
- Experience with Ramond James Advisor Access or UWP
- Experience with Advent APX or Moxy or similar
- Knowledge of Regulatory or Compliance issues pertaining to brokerage or investment management
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
