Summary

The Lead Information Systems Analyst is responsible for providing technical leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of technology-based processes and systems that support critical business operations. This role develops, implements, and manages technical solutions across multiple functional areas while ensuring the delivery of reliable, cost-effective, and secure IT services.

The position serves as a key liaison between Information Systems and business stakeholders, partnering with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities for technology improvements, recommend solutions, and support long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will help define and implement IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and recommendations to team members and Information Systems management.
• Ensure adherence to established IT standards, methodologies, policies, and best practices.
• Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, and support of technology solutions that improve business performance.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, infrastructure, and technology investments.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to identify requirements and develop effective technology solutions.
• Analyze, design, review, and modify system specifications, configurations, and software solutions.
• Develop and maintain coding standards, implementation plans, and testing methodologies.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems and platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal customers regarding products, services, and technical strategies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to support future technology initiatives and strategic planning.
• Develop and execute integrated testing plans and support system implementations.
• Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and project management activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Development, Infrastructure, or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology initiatives and providing technical direction.
• Experience working in complex, multi-user environments supporting enterprise business applications.

Technical Knowledge

Strong knowledge and experience with:

• Networking technologies
• Server and desktop environments
• Database Management Systems (DBMS)
• Systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Systems analysis, configuration, and implementation
• Software development and testing methodologies
• Technology architecture and infrastructure planning
• Enterprise applications and business systems

Communication Skills

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.

Work Schedule & Environment

• Primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Flexibility is required based on business needs, project deadlines, system implementations, and operational support.
• Typical working hours may extend beyond standard business hours, frequently requiring availability from approximately 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
• Occasional evening, weekend, and after-hours support may be necessary.
• Travel may be required based on project and business needs.

Working Conditions

Candidates must be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including:

• Manufacturing and production facilities
• Hot, cold, humid, and changing weather conditions
• Indoor and outdoor work areas
• Inclement weather conditions when business needs require on-site support
• Occasional exposure to production environments with varying noise levels and operational activity
