System Modeling and Simulations Engineer for Automotive Power Applications (f/m/div)

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role As a System Modeling and Simulations Engineer you will be responsible for the development of behavioral models targeted for system simulators for various types of automotive power integrated circuits that are delivered directly to external customers. Develop full chip behavioral models targeted for system simulators  for a various range of product complexities (eg: Power Switches, LED drivers, DCDCs, Bridges, Motor Drives)  Have full responsibility for product model development from concept to implementation and verification  according to requested specifications  Align with stakeholders on model requirements  (eg: accuracy, complexity, feature set, etc) Enable integration of behavioral models in application-level system simulations Offer technical guidance on modeling and simulation capabilities and limitations Provide customer support  for model integration and trainings for model and simulation tool usage Contribute to defining and improving behavioral modeling methodology (eg: investigate new tools, simulators, modeling languages, emulation capabilities, synergies with other skills) Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  You have strong system-level mindset focused on understanding end-to-end automotive semiconductor applications and how IC functions and behaviors translate into the customer’s full system architecture. You are able to translate IC concepts into appropriate abstract models in hardware description languages (e.g. Simulink, PSpice) to enable accurate system simulation and validation. You are self-motivated to continuously improve the efficiency and fidelity of analog concept representation, working across multiple simulation tools and willing to develop an in-depth understanding of simulation engines and their behavior. You are an organized person, and this is seen in your modeling code structure and documentation. University Degree in Electronics Engineering , Applied Electronics , or in a related field Good understanding of electronic and electric circuitry with focus on automotive applications (eg. LED driving solutions). Previous hardware design  experience is appreciated Experience with MATLAB Simulink/Simscape ; passion for mathematical abstraction and numerical modeling is appreciated Knowledge of Spice circuit simulators (e.g., OrCAD, Simetrix, LTSpice); experience with analog modeling languages (e.g., Spice, PSpice) would be a plus Knowledge of FMU  (functional mock up unit) & FMI  standard  would be a plus Basic understanding of communication interfaces and protocols (e.g., SPI, UART, I2C), and experience working with GitLab  and Copilot  would be a plus Good command of English  Language Please send us your CV in English. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
