Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Full Time Patrol Incident Management in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a government healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and request additional assistance when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
