AEEC, a Verdantas Company, is seeking a strong  .NET Web Developer to support our Federal client in Washington, DC.

As the .NET Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using Microsoft technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support web applications and system integrations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage application deployments and support production environments when needed
• Integrate applications with SQL Server databases and third-party systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and development processes

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET technologies
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
• Experience with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for web applications is preferred
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
