Compounding Shift In charge

A. Production Management

- Operate and monitor PVC compounding lines (high-speed mixers, cooling mixers, material conveying systems).
- Ensure production targets are met as per plans.
- Maintain proper batch formulation as per approved recipes.
- Monitor material feeding, mixing temperature, and process parameters.

B. Process Control & Quality Assurance

- Ensure adherence to formulation and process parameters.
- Maintain compound quality (gelation, bulk density, thermal stability).
- Coordinate with QA/QC for testing and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot process deviations.

C. Equipment Handling & Maintenance

- Monitor high-speed mixers, feeders, and compounding equipment.
- Ensure proper startup and shutdown procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance and minimize downtime.

D. Manpower Supervision

- Supervise operators and helpers.
- Allocate duties and ensure shift handover.
- Train staff on SOPs and safety.

E. Safety & Environment

- Ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Monitor safe handling of PVC resin and additives.
- Enforce PPE usage and manage incidents.

F. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production logs and reports.
- Record downtime and raw material consumption.
- Track wastage and rejection.

G. Continuous Improvement

- Suggest improvements in process efficiency.
- Implement 5S, TPM, and lean practices.
