Our client is a global gaming company with a diverse portfolio of mobile and PC titles, reaching millions of players every day across the world. Among their standout titles is a wildly popular life-simulation game with an active, vocal community spread across Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Discord. As the community continues to grow, the team needs a dedicated voice to keep the conversation alive, healthy, and connected back into the business.
Why does this role exist?
This role exists because the game's community lives across six different platforms, each with its own tone, culture, and expectations, and someone needs to own that day-to-day presence authentically and consistently. Beyond engagement, this role is the connective tissue between players and the internal teams who need to hear from them — routing feedback to customer service, surfacing bugs and sentiment from the Discord beta community to QA and Engineering, and flagging trends and cultural moments to the content team. Ultimately, this hire exists to make sure the player community feels heard, well-moderated, and reflected back into the business in real time.
The Impact you’ll make
Community Engagement & Moderation
- Own day-to-day community engagement across Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Discord
- Respond, react, and keep the conversation alive across all platforms
- Monitor and moderate community spaces, reviewing reports and enforcing community guidelines
Feedback & Cross-Functional Liaison
- Surface fan feedback and DM requests to the customer service team, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Serve as the connective tissue between the Discord beta community and the QA team
- Capture and report bug reports, sentiment, and player feedback to QA and Engineering in real time (surfacing issues, not performing QA work directly)
Trend Monitoring & Content Collaboration
- Track trending topics, memes, and cultural moments relevant to the game
- Flag content opportunities to the content team based on community activity
- Collaborate on post ideation and content creation, contributing ideas that feel native to each platform
Player Advocacy & Game Fluency
- Play the game regularly to stay fluent in its mechanics, culture, and community in-jokes
- Represent the community's voice authentically across every platform and interaction
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
- Experience owning day-to-day community management across multiple platforms (Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord).
- Experience moderating online communities, including reviewing reports and enforcing community guidelines.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice natively to each platform.
- Ability to track trending topics, memes, and cultural moments and translate them into content opportunities.
- Genuine familiarity with (or willingness to regularly play) the game, in order to speak authentically for and with its community.

What to expect...
Work Setup:
- Remote position
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday.
Compensation:
- $7 per hour
- No benefits package included
