The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort during assigned shifts, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless, personalized, and exceptional Aman experience. As the Manager on Duty (MOD), the Duty Manager provides visible operational leadership, coordinates guest-facing departments, and ensures the consistent delivery of Aman’s luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily resort operations and ensure smooth service delivery throughout the assigned shift.
Act as the Manager on Duty and provide leadership and support across guest-facing departments.
Personally engage with VIP guests, travel advisors, and key stakeholders to ensure a highly personalized experience.
Handle guest concerns, service recovery, and operational challenges with professionalism and sound judgment.
Ensure adherence to Aman’s luxury service standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain close communication and collaboration across departments to resolve operational matters efficiently.
Safeguard guest privacy, comfort, safety, and overall satisfaction at all times.
Make timely decisions and take appropriate action in situations requiring immediate operational attention.
Lead by example and foster a culture of genuine hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Duty Manager, or similar operational leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
Mandarin-speaking is required.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and personalized guest service.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-pressure situations.
