Randolph & Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team of dental professionals in Bloomington, IL! Compensation

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant is required
- Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments, and hygiene
- Experience administering dental X-rays
- Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office, and other software
- Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children preferred
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
- Current CPR certification required
Specific Duties
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
- Take and process X-rays of patients
- Process lab work for the dentist
- Greet patients as they arrive for appointments
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Update and maintain dental records
- Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental clinic
