Order Fulfillment & Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our company as an Order Fulfillment / Sales Specialist. As part of our Business Development team, you manage inventory, receive and fulfill orders in an efficient manner, and process returns. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with order fulfillment software and strong data entry and customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Review shipping availability page
• Assign Sales Orders to each part number available
• Assign quantities from the shipping planner
• Selling rough and finish product
• Verifying and making adjustments in MRC
• Pricing in CAT Connect
• Tracking amortized parts
• Keep inventory counts for requested parts
• Track shipping performance daily, notify Buyer of discrepancies.
• New shipments count - adjust development pricing.
• Track Harrison International shipping tons.
• Regularly track and update past due list
• Remove shipments each day on order board dashboard
• Receive and fulfill orders in a timely, efficient manner

• Track all orders via delivery software
• Note inventory levels and alert supervisors to potential issues
• Answer phone calls, process returns, and provide online customer service
• Communicates effectively with customers and supports the sales process where needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Minimum of an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university highly preferred. At least one year of current, relevant work- related experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
